Del Rio to host group at North Florida men’s hoops game

Jaguars head coach Jack Del Rio will host more than 30 children from Naval Station Mayport at the North Florida men’s basketball game on Friday.
The children are part of “Jack’s Pack” which is a group created by the Jack Del Rio Foundation in 2010. The group, boys and girls, all have a parent who is active duty Navy stationed at NS Mayport. A bus will transport the group from the NS Mayport and the children will be provided a meal at halftime courtesy of the foundation.
The foundation hosted an event once a month since September for “Jack’s Pack.” Past events included a behind the scenes tour of EverBank Field, a trip to a Jaguars home game, dinner at Maggiano’s and a tour of the North Florida campus.
Del Rio and his wife, Linda, established the Jack Del Rio Foundation in 2008 to help improve the lives of children in Northeast Florida by assisting programs that aid in the development, education and enrichment of our youth.

Mayport Kids Recognized For Hard Work
